Rowan James-Brown

Rowan James-Brown is a photographer based in London, originally from Hackney, London. With a longstanding passion for film photography and moving image, he specialises in fashion, lifestyle and portraiture, creating imagery that is authentic, cinematic and story-driven.

Alongside his photography, Rowan has built extensive experience across the commercial film and advertising industry, working as a Photographer, Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Photographer and Assistant Director (AD) on productions for internationally recognised brands and leading production companies. His work spans commercial campaigns, branded content, editorials and music videos, giving him a well-rounded understanding of visual storytelling and the creative process from concept through to final delivery.

A particular passion of Rowan’s is behind-the-scenes (BTS) photography.
